When the sky is clear is THE time to check over your property for damage from the storm and weak spots that will allow water in next time.

Gutters work best EMPTY. Clear them out of any debris. Scoop out wet leaves with a trowel into a shopping bag or even better, get this Aussie made gutter cleaning kit. Use a leaf blower with extension kit to blow out dry ones. Then you can re-use the leaves as a lovely mulch.
Roofs don’t last forever. Check your roof for signs of wear and tear – get a free DIY guide here. To keep the rain out, it needs an annual check. Remove or trim any dead or low hanging branches near it.
Check your ceilings for any discolouration or damp patches. Anything that might indicate a roof leak needs to be checked out.

Quick and Eco-Friendly Drain Cleaner
We’ve had plenty of calls over the last few weeks from people with smelly and blocked drains. Maintain 
your drain health with this eco friendly recipe:
Step One: Pour half a cup of baking soda down the drain
Step Two: Slowly add half a cup of white vinegar
Step Three: Wait for 30 mins and then rinse with plenty of boiling water
Step Four: Repeat if necessary
